Biography
Vladimir Ruzicic, born 2.10.1978. in Valjevo, Serbia. During his early days, Vlada practiced with Serbian great drummers and finished jazz high school. His teacher was the most respected Serbian drum teacher Miroslav Karlovic. After finishing jazz school, Vlada started to play in Serbian clubs with various musicians. Then he was called to join the band who plays in Serbian biggest TV music show called 3K-DUR (comparable to American Idol) for two years In 2004 Vlada was called from great world music group Sanja Ilic & Balkanika. With Balkanika, Vlada has traveled through whole Europe and played on the biggest festivals. Great show was on the Olympic Games 2004 and also the big concert in Belgrade 2006. (15000 people, recorded on DVD). Balkanika has toured Mexico, Asia, Europe… From 2005 Vlada is in the biggest Serbian pop-rock band “Neverne Bebe” (Unfaithful babies). The band is the most popular in Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia. CD “Iza oblaka” receives the Award for the best album and three videos were most wanted in years 2007, 2008, 2009. Neverne Bebe are very popular in whole Balkans. Vlada plays on the album with great Simon Phillips (guest on three songs). From 2010 Vlada became owner of Kebac studios, located in his home town and there he plays drums and record for many bands around the world. He is a producer, too. The new CD Neverne Bebe from 2012 called “Prastam” is most popular album in whole Balkan region and also best seller, too. Two videos reached no. 1 on MTV Adria top lists for many weeks. As a studio musician Vlada has recorded over 60 cds and produced 10. Many recordings and collaborations are listed as studio drummer, Vlada records for famous Italian guitarist Dario Mollo (Voodoo Hill,with famous Glenn Hughes on vocals), and for Turkish gutar hero Cenk Eroglu (Winger, Xcarnation) plus many many songs for most famous singers worldwide. From 2017 became permanent drummer of one of the biggest rising stars in whole region Aleksandra Prijovic and touring through Europe and USA. 2019 was very successful also with big tour with also rising star in Serbia Katarina Grujic.
