Biography

New York and New Orleans, there the native Italian grew up. Tony Liotta is an international touring Drummer and Percussionist, nowadays he lives in Germany. For more than 40 years Liotta enriches the music scene by his unique grooves and sounds. He is one of the multifaceted Drummers. He got his first studio job, at the age of ten, a studio production for "Young Generation". Meanwhile he is wellknown as a "First Take Drummer”. Tony Liotta Lifetime Achievement Award 2016 by Euro Casting (Italy). Holder of the "German Rock Pop Prize 2018", category Best Cover Band and “German Rock Pop Prize 2020” category “Best Drummer”. His Single “Funky Donkey” received 2020 Gold Disc status. The press calls him the "Chief of Groove”. “Tony Liotta's album Colours Of Life is a contemporary document of the art of drummimng” Sticks – drum magazine Germany. Liotta's recent activities include the release of his new album “Visions” with some of the most famous musicans, like two-time Grammy Award winner Jimbo Hart, the recently deceased Dr. John, the famous Will Mc Farlane, Sly Dunbar or Michael X Machperson a.m.o.m.
