Biography
Todd “Vinny” Vinciguerra is a freelance drummer, author and teacher. He has been endorsing Paiste Cymbals since 2002! He is the author of “Beginning Independence for Rock and Alternative Drumming”, “Studies in Drum Set Independence Vol. 1 & Vol. 2”, “Double Basics”, published by Mel Bay Publications. Vinny has been a contributing writer for Modern Drummer, Drum! Magazine and Rhythm (U.K.) Vinny has been drumming since the age of 5 and performed in many casual and original band projects, musical theater, and has toured with Big Brother & The Holding Company (Janis Joplin¹s former band). Also endorses Ludwig Drums, Evans drumheads, Promark Drumsticks, DW pedals. Currently the drummer for VHF – Vinciguerra, Hoekstra, Franklin with Joel Hoekstra (Whitesnake, Trans Siberian Orchestra, Cher) on guitar. Tony Franklin (The Firm, Blue Murder) on bass. First CD – Very High Frequency, released by Golden Robot Records.

Sound character: Bright, warm, full, brilliant. Wide range, clean mix. Soft, extremely responsive. Explosive, shattering, glassy attack with modulating warm, full, long fade. Features an exotic, very dominant center tone with lively, flanging over- and undertones. Available individually or as sets on hardware mountable 5 and 7 arm holders. Well suited for upside down mounting over a ride bell.
