Teijo Jämsä

Teijo Jämsä (b. 1979) is a well-known Finnish drummer and versatile studio musician with an impressive career spanning decades. Starting his professional journey at the young age of 14, Teijo quickly established himself as a sought-after performer, playing in the live bands of numerous artists. Among his long-term collaborations is his work with Antti Tuisku, one of Finland’s most iconic pop stars. Teijo’s drumming can be heard on many successful recordings by prominent artists and bands, including Apocalyptica, Sunrise Avenue, Killer, Fireal, Antti Tuisku, Kaija Koo, Edu Kettunen, and many others. He is also known for his contributions to acclaimed rock bands such as Killing Eliza, Killer, Fireal and Inkakai. Currently, Teijo works as a freelance musician, performing with some of Finland’s most recognized artists. In addition to his live performances, he provides professional drum recording services from his own studio, Drum Room Finland, where his expertise ensures top-quality results for every project. With his extensive experience, technical skill, and passion for music, Teijo Jämsä continues to leave his mark on the Finnish and international music scenes.
