Biography
Drummer/percussionist/producer Steve Moretti is a two-time Grammy® Award nominee and winner of two Telly Awards. Steve has an extensive recording career playing on over 30 nationally released recordings. He made his movie debut playing live in the 2014 Clint Eastwood film, “Jersey Boys.” Frequently engaged for symphonic drum set performances, Steve’s upcoming appearances include concerts with the symphony orchestras of Edmonton, Florida, Long Beach & Omaha. Steve is co-founder, President & CEO of Macon Pops, a pops orchestra he created in his hometown of Macon, GA with long-time collaborator, conductor/ performer/arranger, Matt Catingub. As a producer, he has produced diverse projects from a PBS special to orchestra and chamber music works to hip hop, rock and pop artists. Steve served three terms on the Board of Governors of the Atlanta Chapter of the Grammy® Recording Academy.
