Biography

Cheung started learning drums with his Father, Cheung Kin Bor (A top session drummer in Hong Kong) at the age of 12, and was gigging in various nightclubs since 15 years old. It is worth to mention that Cheung was invited to play his first concert in Hong Kong Coliseum for Paula Tsui at 17. Cheung then soon began working with top artists in Hong Kong, such as Sam Hui, Alan Tam, Andy Lau, Aaron Kwok, Priscilla Chan, Eason Chan, Hins Cheung, Janice Vidal, among many other appearances in studios and concerts.

Woody, silvery, spanky ping over crunchy, thriving wash. Extremely versatile, flexible ride for wide ranging application in modern blended music styles. Mark II: Tends to be a bit livelier and brighter. This manifests itself in the overall sound character and in particular in the bell and ping sound. Mark II also has a bit more volume potential due to its more open character.
