Biography

Steve has been working in the Nashville music scene for over 30 years. After touring with Michael W. Smith in the early 90’s, he settled into a long career of session drumming. He was in Peter Cetera’s touring band from 2015 through 2018. Steve is still active in Nashville sessions and in his own studio. Recording credits include: Richard Marx, Faith Hill, Amy Grant, Peter Cetera, Dierks Bentley, Michael W. Smith, Bob Seger, Big and Rich, Chris Tomlin, Chicago, Little Big Town, Sara Groves, Jewel, Charlie Peacock, The Neville Brothers, Kari Jobe, Art Garfunkel and many more.

Controllable, peppery stick sound over a dark layered oriental, smoky wash. A ride cymbal that can easily be used in a small jazz club setting and flourish in other styles such as blues or country music.
