Biography
Stéphane Hourteillan is a composer and musician (drums, percussion, guitar and vocals). He has participated in numerous projects with the National Orchestra of the Capitol of Toulouse, Soul Machines, the Big Band Brass, West Coast Big Band, Cap Horns, Soul Eleven, Trias, René Coll etc. He toured with Patrick Sébastien on several tours "Imitations et confidences", "Ça va être ta fête", "Ça va bouger". He founded SHOGR «Stéphane HOurteillan Groupe» (2 albums), the quartet «Jazz Gentleman Crooners» and recently «The Robin Masters duo». At the same time, Stéphane has developed the recording, trained as a sound engineer, equipped himself in a home studio and is solicited by several bands, orchestras and/or musicians for his studio skills. Sensitive to pedagogy, he accompanied an autistic on a long musical journey, conducts workshops regularly with a diverse audience and develops an educational project «Confidences d'une chanson» where he intervenes with a young audience by presenting the backstage of the creation of a song, the different professions of production, creation, recording etc. In summer 2020 Stéphane start recording sessions for the GOJJJ (formerly Paul Mauriat Orchestra: tours in Russia, Japan, China) that he just joined. The album "Le GOJJJ fait son cinéma " should be released by autumn followed by a concert tour.

An immensely versatile hi-hat that combines finesse and articulation with raw energy and cutting power.
