Biography
He began to play drums in 2002 at the age of 13, and immediately started his studies with Fito Messina, teacher of the drummers of Rata Blanca, Catupecu Machu, Los Nocheros, etc. Likewise, over the years he took lessons with “Chiche” Heger and with Antonio Trapanotto (Trapa). At 15 he debuted with his first rock band. At 17, after conducting a rigorous casting, he joined the party production company “Pez Líquido” as a substitute drummer. At the time, he became a regular drummer in the different groups of the organization, playing both acoustic and electronic drums. The styles of the different bands included pop, reggaeton, rock, funk, etc. He was part of the group “Sonya Wins” (2008), whose repertoire of their own songs included styles that ranged from heavy metal to pop, through reggae and blues, and of the band “Lucille & The Conga Commandos” (melodic punk). From 2008 onwards, Sebastian performed with several bands and international musicians, including Stuart Hamm (bass player for Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, etc.), Diego Mizrahi (international Washburn endorser and local TV host), Vernon Neilly (USA Billboard artist), Antonella Vicari (The Voice Argentina), and many more. In 2012, his video was elected by BIB Drums as video of the week, and Drum Channel USA elected Sebastian as one of the best five drummers among other hundred from around the world. From 2014 onwards, Sebastian has been a member of the band “Airbag”, with which he performs regularly at numerous shows and festivals, including tours thru Mexico, Colombia, Peru and Uruguay (2017/2018). With “Airbag”, he opened for bands like Bon Jovi, Muse and Guns N’Roses. During 2018 and 2019, Sebastian also played for pop artist “J-Mena” (Jimena Baron) touring Argentina and Uruguay. In 2020, Sebastian returned to “Airbag”, and has been playing with them ‘till present day, doing tours in Spain and several countries of Latinamerica, three Velez Sarsfield football/soccer stadiums (49.000 peopla each), and seven River Plate football/soccer stadiums -two on 2024 and five on 2025- (85.000 people each). He also does clinics and teaches drumming classes, both in educational institutions and privately.
