Biography
Sebastian Schmidt got his first drum lesson at the age of 6 and 2 years later founded his first band, followed by his first rock band, percussion ensembles, musical and orchestral gigs as well as funk and jazz bands. He won several youth musicians competitions "Jugend komponiert" and "Jugend musiziert". He studied jazz drums at the "Homeschool voor de kunsten Arnheim" (Netherlands) with René Creemers and at the UdK Berlin with Jerry Granell. Captain Schmidt lives in Berlin and performs and records with Ich+Ich, Adel Tawil, Super700 and Polish artist Julia Marcell.
