Biography
Ricardo Lagomasino is a professional drummer and drum teacher with many years of touring, recording and teaching experience. He started playing at the age of 10 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Music in Jazz performance from Oberlin College, where he studied under Billy Hart, Jamey Haddad and Michael Rosen. He has also studied under Ralph Peterson, Joe Chambers, Joe Ascione, Kristina Kanders and Joe Nevolo. Since beginning his professional career he has performed over one thousand shows across the US, Canada, the UK and Europe. He has played with many bands and solo artists including Eric Slick (of Dr. Dog), Joe Lally (of Fugazi), Dominic Angelella, Nightlands (Dave Hartley of The War on Drugs), Nick Reinhart (of Tera Melos), Pouty, Worriers, The Dove and The Wolf, Laser Background, Anthony Pirog, Lushlife, Deleted Scenes, Buried Beds, Many Arms, The Sea Around Us and Split/Red, among others. He is currently playing and touring with Lucy Dacus, Mal Blum and Lithuania.
