Biography
Pres Sala is a highly regarded drummer and session musician based in Los Angeles, California. Born in Lake Como, Italy, he was one of the first pioneers of the remote recording movement in Italy, which opened doors to collaborations with artists and producers across the world. This groundbreaking work eventually brought him to Los Angeles, where he pursued a career as a session musician and arranger. In his first two years in Los Angeles, Pres established himself as one of the busiest and most versatile session drummers, contributing to over 100 recording sessions in iconic studios such as EastWest Recording Studios, Paramount Pictures, and Sunset Sound. Pres has worked alongside Grammy Award-winning producer Al Sherrod Lambert (“Points”) contributing to artists like Ariana Grande and Daddy Yankee amongst countless others, given his ability to flow across genres & different styles. His educational background reflects his passion for excellence, holding a BACH from MI Musicians Institute of Hollywood and a CERT from the University of Oxford. In recognition of his contributions to the music industry, Pres was recently inducted into the Recording Academy / GRAMMYs as one of their youngest members, further cementing his reputation as a world-class musician.
