Biography
Philip Coiro is a professional drummer and concert percussionist in New York City. He is often performing in a wide variety of musical settings which include live concert engagements, broadway, off-broadway, studio recordings and orchestral work. Currently the music director for singer-songwriter Troy Ramey, he has also performed with pop stars Jordin Sparks, James Maslow and is frequently playing drums behind today's biggest broadway stars including Mandy Gonzalez (Hamilton), Anthony Rapp (RENT), Natalie Weiss (Wicked) to name a few. Recent theater credits include the Broadway musical ‘Be More Chill’, the Broadway musical ‘American Psycho’ and recorded drums and percussion for 'The Ballad of Little Jo', a new musical composed by Grammy Award winning songwriter Mike Reid (I Can't Make You Love Me).
