Biography

Phil G is originally from Austria but has been working out of the UK since 2004. He has since enjoyed a versatile career both live and in the studio and has established himself as a highly indemand drummer, especially in the live sector which has seen him touring worldwide with bands and artists including Mike + The Mechanics, Go West, Nik Kershaw, ABC, Taylor Dayne, Paul Young, Kim Wilde, Bonny Tyler, Boney M, Cutting Crew, Belinda Carlisle, Chris de Burgh and many others. Most recently Phil has been playing drums along the Rewind All Star band performing multi artist shows at major festivals around the UK and Ireland and accompanying artists including Erasure’s Andy Bell, Soft Cell’s Marc Almond, Midge Ure, Bananarama, Tunde of The Lighthouse Family, Jason Donavan, Heatwave, John Parr among other acts. Phil is also Musical Director for Sogand, a very established Persian artist, with recent tours across the Middle East and Canada.
