Biography

Based in Maidstone,Kent in the UK, Pete began playing music at a young age, growing up around some of the country's top session musicians. Starting out on guitar, shortly followed by drums, Pete also plays various other instruments, but found his true passion behind the kit. Following years of experience performing on stages and at events around the world (including Glastonbury, Cambridge Folk Festival and The London Palladium to name a few), as well as appearing on various different recordings, Pete has established a strong reputation in the music world. Pete has just finished 3 years of touring with several shows for James Baker Productions including the company's flagship show Michael - Starring Ben, one of the world's leading Michael Jackson tribute shows. About to embark on a US tour with his band, The Wild Things, Pete is currently working on new music, rehearsals and generally getting ready alongside teaching and working with select students. Fine stick sound with hints of silver and wood over a broad, low-pitched warm, deep, multilayered wash. Wide, warm, full crash sound. Very lively, controllable. Multifunctional cymbal for refined ride playing and swelling, deep crashes. Also well suited for mallet playing mallets.
