Biography
Paweł Czubatka - polish drummer, composer and educator. His musical experiences include a large number of concerts and studio sessions with classical, jazz and pop music. Pawel has worked with many great musicians like Nippy Noya, Bill Molenhof, Steffen Schorn, Leszek Zadlo, Ney Rosauro, Jovino Santos Neto, Marek Biliński, Izabella Effenberg, Marcos Fregnani, Jan Prax, Kim Barth, Paulo Morelo, to name a few. He has won several prizes and recieved various scholarships such as: 3rd prize on Percussion Arts Society International Snaredrum Competition in Paris 2007, 1st prize on Percussion Arts Society International Percussion Competition in Fermo 2008, 3rd pize on Mozart Chamber Music Competition in Nuremberg 2010, 1st prize on Bruno Rother Jazz Competition in Fuerth 2011, DAAD-Prize (German Academic Exchange Service) 2012, Yehudi Menuhins "Live Music Now" Scholarship 2013. In 2014 Paweł released his first CD called "Drums and Dreams" by Pawel Czubatka Band. He currently lives in Germany.
