Biography

Recording with ICEHOUSE resulted in albums such as MEASURE FOR MEASURE and MAN OF COLOURS working with UK producer, David Lord. MAN OF COLOURS is one of the highest selling rock albums in Australia, selling more than a million copies in Australia alone. It included two top-ten hits in the USA Billboard Charts making ICEHOUSE a true international success. The following albums CODE BLUE produced by Nick Launay (Kate Bush, PIL, Midnight Oil) and BIG WHEEL produced by David Lord added another three top-twenty hits to the collection. Paul has toured with ICEHOUSE extensively throughout Europe, America, Australia, South America, and New Zealand from clubs to stadiums. Highlights include touring the US with THE CARS; performing at the iconic “Madison Square Garden”; “Live At The Ritz”; the famed “CBGB” in New York City; the prestigious “Montreaux Pop Festival” in Switzerland; “The 2018 Skanevik Blues Festival” in Norway; and TV shows “The Johnny Carson Show”, “American Music Awards” and “Top of the Pops” in the UK. Paul’s versatility has seen him record and perform with many artists throughout his career including Wendy Matthews, Steve Kilbey, Joe Camilleri, Angry Anderson, The Choirboys, Spy vs Spy, Primary, Richard Clapton, Kate Ceberano, Eurogliders, Shannon Noll, Adam Brand, John Paul Young, Marcia Hines, Ross Wilson, Daryl Braithwaite, Ian Moss, Brian Cadd, Russell Morris, Jenny Morris, Kevin Borich Express, The Whitlams, John Oates (Hall & Oates), Sneaky Sound System and more. ICEHOUSE were inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2006 and Paul continues to play with the band today, regularly performing in theatres and headlining festivals throughout the nation. From 2017 - 2019 ICEHOUSE completed their 40th Anniversary Tour of Australia and New Zealand to a combined audience of 300,000 people, including 6 sold out shows at The Enmore Theatre in Sydney. Paul was honoured to perform with ICEHOUSE at the Fire Fight Australia Concert in 2020 at ANZ Stadium to a live audience of 70,000 people, and a televised audience of 1.650 million.
