„By the time I was fourteen, I’d saved enough to buy a Sonor drum kit with PAISTE 2002 cymbals. It was a game changer and I still have the ride-cymbal which I love.“

Biography

Paul’s journey with music began with the piano aged 7 followed by the drums at 11, buying his first set of proper cymbals when he was 14, a set of PAISTE 2002. Whilst still at school he played in various cover bands, looking for any opportunity and venue in which to perform, and eventually started playing in a number professional bands, getting his first record-deal at the age of 25. Paul joined STANFOUR (a German Pop-project) with whom he played between 2008 - 2009. In 2012 he relocated from Bielefeld to Hamburg in order to work with DARKHAUS, playing at the “infamous” M’era Luna-Festival for the first time as well as touring throughout Germany with them. The Darkhaus-journey ended in 2017 but during this time Paul established himself as a regular playing rock grooves at the Reeperbahn (the „Kiez“) club scene in Hamburg. In 2018 he joined DIE KRUPPS (the creators of EBM and a pioneer of the “Neue Deutsche Härte“ movement), touring all over Europe. In 2022 the international vocal group GREGORIAN knocked on his door and the rest is history.
