Biography
Born in Puebla, Mexico, Monica Del Valle started her musical path playing the piano at age 9. By age of 12 she had discovered rock music and the drums. After being a self taught drummer for many years she decided to take her musical career to the next level and enrolled at the “Universidad de las Américas – Puebla” where she continued her education in classical percussion. After graduating Magna Cum Laude, she devoted herself to drumming, playing for Mexican artists such as Cristian Castro (Sony Music) and Juan Carlos Lozano (Moenia, Morbo). In 2011, she relocated to Mexico City where she began a successful career in theater, playing drums in shows such as Billy Elliot (Gou Producciones), RENT, Songs For A New World (Happy Ending), Peter Pan, Mary Poppins, Wicked and The Lion King (Ocesa Teatro). She currently plays drums in the musical Hello Dolly. She proudly endorses Paiste, Yamaha, Remo, Montano, Cympad.
