Biography
Michael William, popularly known as MK-Stixx. He is the last of six children and hails from Akwa Ibom state, Nigeria. Micheal, who started playing drums at the age of 14, is one of the most respected and talked about drummer/musician on the scene today. He has maintained a reputation amongst his fans and peers as one of the most sought after Drummers, making him one of Africa’s finest musician/Drummer. His dexterity allows him to thrive across various genres like Jazz, Rock, Latin, funk, Gospel, Hip, R&B, Pop, Africanism and lots more. Michael William is a respected and versatile Musician, his style and uniqueness is considered standard, distinctive and his musical contribution is incomparable. Michael has grown so tremendously as a professional drummer, arranger, composer, bassist, clinician, and a Musician. He has performed with over 48 musical artist around the world. He has performed in international festivals and prominent Jazz festival within the African continent. And he has been featured in drum clinics and workshops locally and internationally. Michael William leads a 4-piece band; vocalist , drummer, bassist, pianist. The Band is currently regarded as the most sought after and versatile band in Africa, Europe and beyond. Because of its unique style neats around different genres the band's brand is considered distinctive as there is something for everyone. The band consist of great musicians with different backgrounds, who came together to enhance their contribution to music from one platform. The band has performed in prominent festivals of all over Africa and some part of Europe.
