Biography
Matty Alger is a drummer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. As a teenager, he lived and studied in São Paulo, Brazil, returning to the states to attend Berklee College of Music and while in Boston completed studies with Gary Chaffee. Matty has gone on to appear on many records and film scores including Disney’s “Wreck it Ralph”. He has recorded or toured with Ben Harper, Charlie Musselwhite, Eminem, Rhianna, Roberta Flack, Albert Lee, George Stanford, Hans Zimmer, and Henry Jackman (to name a few), and has appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live & The Tonight Show and The MTV Video Music Awards. Currently based in Nashville with his family, Matty maintains a busy recording schedule playing, programming, arranging, and producing music.
