Biography
Born in 1988, starts his studies at Accademia di Musica Moderna of Milan were he get graduated in 2007. After studying at Berklee College of Music in Boston with Skip Hadden (Weather Report, Eddie Gomez, Giovanni Hidalgo), Sergio Bellotti and Jon Hazilla. Come back from Boston to deepen his studies with Giuseppe Cacciola (percussionst ad Teatro alla Scala of Milano), Maxx Furian and Alfredo Golino. Session required in studio and live, he has made several recordings of different musical styles. He performs in festivals and programs in Italy and abroad as in French, Spain, Germany, Austria, Portugal, Holland, Belgium and Slovenia. Performs live and in studio with artists such as Alfa, Alteria, Andrea Andreoli, Paola Atzeni, Simona Bencini, Angie Brown, Oscar Cartaya (Jennifer Lopez, Santana), Gigi Cifarelli, Sergio Cocchi, Daniele Comoglio, Simone Cristicchi, David Cross (King Crimson), Nando De Luca, Alessandro Del Vecchio, Riccardo Di Paola, Carlo Fava, Michele Fazio, Paola Folli, Tiziana Ghiglioni, Alberto Gurrisi, Marco Grasso, Fabio Gurian, Alberto Gurrisi, Steve Hackett (Genesis), Flavio Ibba, David Jackson (Van Der Graaf Generetor), Pino Jodice, Briant Jones (Chicago Mass Gospel Choir), Willie James Jones (Zion Movement Chicago), Marco Massa, Michele Monestiroli, Monday Orchestra, Luca Meneghello, Danilo Minotti, Bazil Meade, (London Community Gospel Choir), Arianna Mereu, Folco Orselli, Cheryl Porter, Pancho Ragonese, Pepe Ragonese, Marco Ricci, Claudio Sanfilippo, Lars Säfsund, Renato Sellani, Sorelle Marinetti, Andrea Papazzoni, Fabrizio Poggi, Alessandro Usai, Daniel Stenbaek (Kirk Franklin), Ray Thomas (The Moody Blues), Paolo Tomelleri, Verdi Jazz Orchestra, Dexter Walker (Zion Movement Chicago). In 2020 the track “Sul più bello” by Alfa, for which he recorded drums, achieved a gold record award and it has been used as sound track for the film of the same name produced by the record company Eagle Pictures. He works on musical and tours such as Cabaret, Grease, Cercasi Cenerentola, The little shop of horrors and Next to Normal. He records jingles and spot tv such as: Amazon, Pavesini, Ikea, Feltrinelli, Eurobet, Satispay, BNL, Segugio.

Sound character: A fusion of darkness, energy, projection and brilliance. Very wide range, complex, musical mix. Responsive feel, extremely controllable. Woody, silvery, spanky ping over crunchy, thriving wash. Extremely versatile, flexible ride for wide ranging application in modern blended music styles. Mark I: Tends to be a bit quieter, darker and drier. This manifests itself in the overall sound character and in particular in the bell and ping sound.
