Biography
My mission is to provide tasteful drumming with excellence. I orchestrate songs with sensitivity to serve the singer. Through the art of listening, I create space as a canvas for melodies to grow and add Paiste cymbals as splashes of color and rich shades of hue. Simplicity and timekeeping are foundations to build rhythms with groove, feeling and passion. As a master drum tuner I shape sounds, creating unique sonic expressions. Tone and timbre are in the touch. I embrace a modern style while studying the history of rhythm to present a context and inform how we got here. Being Vintage-Future minded makes for a well-rounded musician pushing me outside my comfort zone to create a new, fresh sound. "As an artist, I’ve been recording, producing and composing new original songs with my writing partner Lynn LiVigni who has also toured nationally and internationally. As a duo act, we will be releasing our singles “For America” & “Sometimes You Just Need A Good Country Song” globally in 2021. We have also been producing other artists and helping them release their music. I’ve been extremely fortunate to be working with Grammy winning mixing engineer Bob Horn and mastering engineer Ari Blitz on my projects. I have been GIVING BACK by mentoring aspiring artists encouraging them to pursue their musical dreams through teaching and mentoring. It is my ultimate goal to keep the fire of music alive in every way that I can and being an artist in the Paiste family for over two decades has given me the instruments to perfect my signature sound that inspires everyone who hears me play.
