Biography
Manuel Di Camillo ist ein vielseitiger Schlagzeuger aus München. Seine musikalische Laufbahn begann früh: Bereits mit 11 Jahren gewann er beim Wettbewerb Jugend musiziert sowohl den 1. Platz im Regional- als auch im Landeswettbewerb. 2004 sicherte er sich den ersten Platz beim Drums and More- Wettbewerb in Feldkirch. Seine professionelle Karriere startete 2006 als Schlagzeuger der Münchner Metal-Band Equilibrium, mit der er bis 2010 auf internationalen Bühnen und Festivals tourte. 2009 feierte Di Camillo einen weiteren Meilenstein: Er gewann den 1. Platz beim deutschen Wettbewerb “Drummer of Tomorrow” und belegte international den 2. Platz. Zwischen 2009 und 2015 studierte er Jazz an der Hochschule für Musik und Theater München und schloss sowohl das künstlerische als auch das pädagogische Diplom sowie einen Master erfolgreich ab. Seit 2013 unterrichtet er am renommierten Drummers Focus in München. Neben seiner Lehrtätigkeit ist Manuel Di Camillo als gefragter Live- und Studioschlagzeuger aktiv.
