Biography
Lukáš Pavlík was born on December 13, 1986 in Prostějov, Czech Republic. From the age of 11, he studied percussion at the Vladimír Ambros Elementary School in Prostějov, where he played in a brass and swing orchestra. He started with the Moravian pop bands Storm, Black Rose, Marasd. In 2003, he began studying percussion at the Brno Conservatory. He performed in the Brno Conservatory Symphony Orchestra and also with the European Young Orchestra, with which he toured Japan in 2005, ending at Suntory Hall. In 2006, he won 1st place in percussion and 2nd place in melodic percussion in the national competition of conservatories in the Czech Republic. He won the Best Talent award in Amsterdam at the Roths&Rothes international music festival in 2004. On the Brno rock scene, he was in the bands Animé, Equirhodont. After passing the high school leaving exam in Brno in 2006, Lukáš began studying at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory in Prague, where he received his graduation diploma in 2011. In Prague, he played with the bands Ondřej Kabrna Trio, Aleš Brichta Band, DYMYTRY, David Kraus Band, Ewa Farna, Kamil Střihavka&LEADERS!, Michal Pavlíček, Roman Pokorný, Čechomor. Lukáš Pavlík joined the main group CHINASKI in 2018. He is also involved in recording activities, music production and studio sound.
