Biography
Keith began his musical journey at the age of 7, listening to bands like The Beatles and The Rascals when he was immediately drawn to the drums. Not long after, came formal training, studying drums with Bob Gulloti in Boston, Gary Chester and Chuck Zeauren in New York. As a young musician with an open mind, Keith embraced a wide range of music; Pop, Rock, R&B, Jazz, Latin, Country, Classical, and absorbing it all. He studied composition and arranging with jazz great Dick Griffin and neoclassical composer/conductor Chaim Elisha. Performed and, or recorded with 1910 Fruitgum Company ("Simon Says", "123 Redlight", "Indian Giver”), Jon Anderson (Yes), Danny “Kootch” Kortchmar (Don Henley, Jackson Browne, James Taylor, Billy Joel), Buck Dharma and Tommy Zvoncheck (Blue Oyster Cult), Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow, Deep Purple) and Ron Dante (The Archies, Barry Manilow, Cher), Macfadden and Whitehead ("Ain't No Stoppin Us Now”), Joey Molland (Badfinger), Dennis Tufano (Original singer of The Buckinghams), Moogy Klingman (Todd Rundgren’s Utopia, Bette Midler, Jimi Hendrix), Gary DeCarlo (Steam, “Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye”), Taz DiGregorio (The Charlie Daniels Band). In addition to his work with these artists, Keith can be heard on countless commercials, TV and Film scores. Keith is also an award winning Television and Film composer, record producer and multi instrumentalist. In 1988, he started Sky High Music, an original music production company located in the New York metro area.
