Biography
Justin Lack began his drum training at the tender age of 12 when his cool older cousin decided the best way to get Justin to quit bugging him was to sit him behind the drumset and show him a couple of things. That first day Justin sat and practiced for 2 hours straight and hasn’t looked back. After high school Justin went on the Berklee College of Music where he studied drumset performance with teachers like Dave Discenso, John Ramsey and Rod Morgenstein. After playing around Chicago for a few years Justin made the move to Los Angeles where he had the opportunity to make music with some true greats such as James Lomenzo (Megadeth), Rowan Roberts (Dio) and Angelo Moore (Fishbone). He toured Europe with the Graham Bonnet (Rainbow, Alcatraz) and has recorded with heavy metal producing legend Bill Metoyer (Slayer, Corrosion of Conformity). Currently Justin is a principal percussionist in the Santa Monica Symphony Orchestra and the drummer for the Elvis/Kiss mashup tribute band Elviss Simmons.
