Biography

Jon Wurster has been a mainstay on the Alternative Rock scene since 1991 when he joined Chapel Hill, NC indie pioneers Superchunk. Wurster still records and tours with Superchunk, but has also been a full-time member of both The Bob Mould Band, and The Mountain Goats since 2009. Wurster is also an in-demand session/live drummer, having worked with Aimee Mann, Alejandro Escovedo, The New Pornographers, Nick Cave, Rocket From The Crypt, Ben Gibbard and many others.
