Joey Peebles

Joey Peebles is a long-time member of Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue. Born and raised in New Orleans, music has always been a part of his life. His blend of rock, funk, jazz and latin helped carve the backbone of Trombone Shorty’s unique sound. He brings a heavy feel that anchors whatever group he is playing with, while maintaining fluidity. With more than a decade of touring experience as a member of Orleans Avenue, Joey has played with many greats, including Lenny Kravitz, Dave Grohl, Madonna, Joan Jett, Earth Wind and Fire, Usher, Gary Clark, Jr., Dr. John, Allen Toussaint, and George Clinton.
