Biography
Joe Alessandro, artist, musician, and educator has performed as a touring and studio musician nationally and internationally. Joe has become known as one of the most versatile and in – demand drummer in the Los Angeles area. His broad experience ranges from rock, blues, jazz, funk, pop and much more. Joe attended music institute in Hollywood California and continued studying with Terri Bozzio and Chuck Silverman. Joe has worked with and received credit from Chuck Silverman’s compilation “The Funk Masters” published by Warner Bros. He has performed and shared the stage with such acts as Motley Crue, Quit Riot, Bobby Kimball, Mike Sims (Grammy nominated) and recorded with Don Harrison group on (Chrysalis records) to name a few. Joe is also the author of ‘The True Basics of Drumming” videos and has received numerous awards in education including one from Vic Firth for his dedication, contribution and professionalism to music education.
