Biography
Jess Calcaterra moved to Los Angeles via small town Colorado in 2006. Prior to moving she played in jazz/symphonic band and had a 2 season stint in the pit band at the Rocky Mountain Reparatory Theater. From 2006-2009 she was a founding member of Billy Boy on Poison. The group was signed to Ironworks/Universal Republic. They toured the U.S., U.K. and Japan. BBOP appeared on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and their single, “On My Way”, was featured on many tv spots, a few being Entourage and Gossip Girl. Since 2009 Jess has been playing with many L.A. based acts. She also did extensive touring with Atlanta based performer Nigel Dupree. From 2015-present she has been backing country/rock artist Kiefer Sutherland. The Kiefer Sutherland Band have done the Grand Ol Opry twice, festivals around the world including the Stagecoach Music Festival and the Glastonbury Music Festival. They have appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Kimmel, The Talk and Live at the Kate. With multiple world tours under their belt, she has played well over 300 shows with the group.
