Jeff Meloen

Jeff Meloen is an up-and-coming live/studio/session drummer living in Nashville, TN. Graduating from Belmont University in May '17, Jeff has shared the stage and performed with many great acts including Country Music Hall of Fame's: Charlie Daniels, Toby Mac, Todd Smallie (Bass for Derek Trucks, J.J. Grey & Mofro), Britt Nicole, Kayla Nettles, Emily Brooke, Katie Belle, Niles Rooker, Waker, Michael & The Myriad, Radar vs Wolf, Kara Kole, StikYard, The Tennessee Titans Blue Crew Drum line, Music City Mystique, The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps, Spirit of Atlanta Drum & Bugle Corps, Music City Drum & Bugle Corps, and many more.. As a Nashville drummer, Jeff has drummed at venues/clubs all over town. Some of his favorites include Bridgestone Arena, Curb Event Center, Exit/In, Mercy Lounge, The High Watt, 3rd & Lindsley, and Acme Feed & Seed. Jeff has recorded drums for various artists and projects in many legendary studios in Nashville including Sound Emporium Studios, RCA Studio B, Columbia Studio A, Quonset Hut Studio, Capricorn Sound Works, Dark Horse Recording Studios, TRC Studios, & Wild Road Recording to name a few. Jeff's unique playing style features a strong, deep pocketed groove that is a result from years of idolizing Steve Jordan, embellished with rudimental vocabulary gained from countless hours of formal percussion training. Jeff Meloen's playing style behind the drum kit has been compared to a mix of Steve Jordan, John Bonham, & Mitch Mitchell.
