„Paiste was my very first cymbal I owned. So, in reality I've played Paiste Cymbals since 1984. I grew up in Brea, California where Paiste's U.S. headquarters are based. Which meant when I cracked a cymbal. I could ride my bike over to the Paiste offices and trade it out for a new one. Which I did on several occasions. I was fortunate enough to officially join the Paiste family of artists in 2009. It's the cymbal sound that is in my head. Every time I hit one, it's just exactly what I want to hear. Can't do better than that. My favorites are the Signature Series, Dark Energy, Formula 602 Modern Essentials and I've been known to play some 2002's at live shows.“
