„My very first cymbals were Paistes, a 14" Dixie and a 16" Stambul that came with my first drum kit. The kit did not come with a ride cymbal, so a very important choice was made when in 1986 I travelled with my mother to the nearest city to buy one - a brand new 20" 505 Ride. Since then I've owned and used a wide variety of Paiste lines - Color Sound 5s, 2002, 802, RUDEs, Masters, Formula 602s and Signatures. In fact, my 16" Signature Fast Crash that I bought new in 1997 is probably on every recording I have done since then.“
