Biography
Born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico israel started as a drummer for his local church while playing in different rock and jazz bands on the side, he attended the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara and then went on to become the drummer for the mexican electro pop band Belanova, Belanova came to prominence in the Latin Pop circuit allowing Israel and the band to tour extensively for over a decade thru Latin America, USA and Europe, and earning Gold and Platinum status for their record sales, as well as prestigious awards such as Latin Grammys and MTV video music awards, after Belanova went into hiatus, Israel joined the Japanese Maestro and Legendary Video Game Composer Akira Yamaoka as he decided to form a band and finally bring his music to live audiences, as of today Israel continues to perform with Akira, whether is touring by themselves, in music festivals, or prestigious Video Game Conventions all over Asia, America, and Europe.
