Biography
From an early age Heath Campbell knew that the rhythm was his calling. At just five years old, after being given a guitar, he defiantly declared “I want a drum kit!” This was a decision that would shape his musical journey forever. Inspired by the sounds of iconic rock and metal drummers such as John Bonham, Joey Jordison, and Eloy Casagrande, Heath quickly developed a deep appreciation for the power and precision of percussion. As his craft evolved, so did his musical palette. Today Heath draws influence from the complex chops of Eric Moore, the mind-blowing mastery of Vinnie Colaiuta, and the infectious rhythms of J Dilla. Fusing chop and groove-driven styles, Heath’s drumming has a unique and dynamic sound, incorporating a blend of technical proficiency and raw emotion, driven by a relentless pursuit of the perfect groove. Whether on stage or in the studio, his commitment to pushing boundaries makes him an artist to watch in the world of contemporary drumming.
