Biography
Born in 1989, Hanno started drumming at the age of 8. When he was 16 he decided to make music a bigger part of his life. After finishing school, he studied music at ArtEZ hogeschool voor de kunsten in Arnhem (2010-2011) and university of applied sciences Osnabrück (2011-2016). In 2017 Hanno joined the german heavy/power metal band Mystic Prophecy. He has played several national tours (Healed by Metal Tour 2017, Monuments Uncovered Tour 2018, Metal Division Tour 2020, Knights and Riots Tour 2023) as well as national and international festivals with them (e.g. Bang Your Head Festival 2018, Karmøygeddon Festival 2022, 70000 Tons Of Metal 2024, Rock Hard Festival 2024, Rockharz Festival 2024). So far he has recorded three albums with Mystic Prophecy: Monuments Uncovered (2018, Massacre Records), Metal Division (2020, ROAR) and Hellriot (2023, ROAR), with Metal Division being the most successful album of the band so far. Alongside his work with Mystic Prophecy, he also plays drums for international Heavy Rock group Ravenstine, which he recorded two albums with: Ravenstine (2023, ROAR) and 2024 (2024, Massacre Records). Additionally he is the current live drummer for modern metal band Enemy Inside. Besides this he works as a freelance drummer both in the studio as well as live in a variety of styles. In addition he works as a drum teacher at the communal music school in his hometown.
