Biography
Gustavo Gonçalves, portuguese professional musician, was born in Olhão, in 1992. He began his drum studies at the age of 9 having as main teachers as Humberto Graça (Beto), Michael Lauren and Kiko Freitas. He has been collaborating as a drummer in several projects, namely, Edu Miranda Trio, Ricardo Sousa, Carol Campolina, Tuniko Goulart, IRIS, Vitor Bacalhau and Gabriel De Rose. Occasionally he collaborated on other projects, such as Phil X & The Drills (Bon Jovi) and Simon Le Bon (Duran Duran). At the same time, he is a music teacher, records regularly as a session drummer, is a composer and co-produtor on several projects. Drum is his principal instrument, but he also plays bass and guitar, always keeping his focus and discipline on constant study and improvement.
