Biography
Guido 'Zima' Montanarini (born in Milan, June 20th 1984) is an Italian drummer, currently known for being the drummer of the British gothic-metal legends Paradise Lost. After years gravitating in the Italian hardcore-punk iscene, he became a metal drummer "by accident" joining multiple international extreme metal bands (Implore, The Secret and more), starting his non-stop touring journey all over the world and recording albums for main metal labels such as Century Media, Nuclear Blast and Season Of Mist. He joined the British death-doom band Strigoi in late 2019 and officially joined Paradise Lost in 2023, remaining still based in his hometown Milan but always keeping his backpack ready-to-go wherever music needs him.
