Biography
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Gerardo started playing drums at age 15 and his love for drums and music never stopped. Gerardo played and recorded with bands like Karma, Resonantes, El Límite, Papá Nos Quiso A Todos and more. He worked and recorded three albums with comedian / trumpeter Gillespi. He shared a musical project with the guitarist / composer, Lapo Gessaghi (Spotify-Apple Music), with whom he toured the United States and performed at the Louisville University Jazz Festival and the famous Jazz Factory. Currently Gerardo is the drummer of the instrumental music group Alquimia Díaz Colodrero (Spotify-Apple Music) and has a Band that pays Tribute to the music of the Great Luis Alberto Spinetta, Y Que Siga La Melodía, has a project with guitar player Migue Gessaghi and makes recording sessions and drum clinics. Gerardo is also the Editor since 2004 of the oldest Drum Magazine in Argentina, Bateristas Al Sur (Drummers at the South)
