Biography
Based in Paris, Francis is an in demand creative drummer, incomparable in the fineness of his playing. Born in France in 1970, he started to study drums at age of 10, doing his first professional gigs at 14. From Jazz to world music, latin, jazz and pop music, he’s intensively travelling the world to perform in the nicest venues. He was for 8 years the drummer fort he french legend Charles Aznavour. Since 2016 he ist he drummer for Christopher Cross playing in Japan, South America, Australia, Europe and lot more to come… He played with Richard bona, Robben Ford, Larry Carlton, John Jorgensen, Ron Thal, Jean Félix Lalanne, Paul Personne, Olivier Kerourio, Eddy Louiss, Chico Freeman, Arturo Sandoval, Dominique Fillon, Larry Williams, I MURINI His collaborations includes also Frank McComb, Richard Galliano, Rob Mc Connel, Orlando Poleo, Roberto Fonseca, Lara Fabian, Michel Fugain, Marc Berthoumieux, SANSVERINO He endorses REMO Drumheads, PAISTE Cymbals, VIC FURTH drumsticks and GRETSCH drums. Since 1988, he’s played various styles of music from Jazz to World Music touring with Rob McConnel, Cheik Tidiane Seck, Chic Hot, Orlando Poleo, Roberto Fonseca and Arturo Sandoval. Francis Arnaud performed on recordings Cheick Tidiane Seck “MandinGroove”, Alvaro Bello “Y que paso”, Line Kruse “Dream”, Mariana Ramos “Suavi dança”. His discography also includes works with Renaud Papillon Paravel, Sylvain Del Campo, Dan Kamit and Tipari.
