Biography
"I've always liked to think of music as a language, and with a band like Karma To Burn, we are given the opportunity to freely speak that language" - Rhythm Magazine interview. Since joining the instrumental rock band Karma To Burn in 2012, West Virginia based rock drummer Evan Devine has seen over 8 years of extensive touring experience throughout the US and Europe. Evans' energetic drumming has taken him on the road, most notably to Hellfest (France), Graspop (Belgium), Rock Altitude (Switzerland), multiple Desertfests across Europe, and countless more tours and festivals across the US and Europe. Also an accomplished sound engineer, Evan has been on tour providing live audio for K. Flay, The Obsessed, Imarhan, !!! (ChkChkChk), Algiers, Windhand, and has even appeared on drums with K. Flay. Notable studio credits as a drummer include two albums with Karma to Burn (Arch Stanton, Mountain Czar), multiple releases on A389 Records with Ancient Shores, and many other projects, most recently visiting The Church recording studio in Pittsburgh PA to record with engineer Dave Hidek. A Paiste Cymbals artist since 2016, Evan feels he has finally found the perfect cymbal sound for his drumming.
