Biography

Born in Wellington, New Zealand in 1990, Dylan started drumming at age 6. He began performing publicly not long after, playing solo & with bands. He first appeared on New Zealand Television at age 9. At age 13, he won the 2004 New Zealand Drum Wars competition in the Adult Category. At 15, he won the Best Musicianship Award in the Nationwide High School Band Competition - Smokefree Rockquest He began holding Drum Clinics around NZ from age 15 and has since held clinics, recorded & performed in Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, Canada, Germany, Norway, Slovakia, Switzerland, Mexico, Australia, Western Samoa & American Samoa. In 2015 at age 24, the 1967 Legendary Jazz/Rock Fusion band Blood, Sweat & Tears hired Dylan and moved him from New Zealand to America to be a full-time member of the band. He is still a member of the band and has since played over 300 shows with them worldwide. Dylan recorded & released jazz/fusion album, ‘ReAmped’, with fellow New Zealanders, Nick Granville & Ben Shepherd in 2017 Dylan currently plays with Blood, Sweat & Tears, Jeff Lorber, Warren Hill, Haley Reinhart, Printz Board, Jacob Luttrell, Dave Yaden, Austin Ward and Janine. He also has played & recorded with Cheap Trick, Bo Bice, Nick Colionne, Lao Tizer, Lucia Micarelli and many others. Much of his success is due to his viral drumming videos on YouTube, amounting at over 30million views. Dylan lives in Los Angeles, California, and records out of his studio in North Hollywood.
