Biography
Drew, a native of Nashville, TN, has been an active performer on the road and in the studio for 10 years. At the age of sixteen, Drew started playing in church and quickly took to the road with contemporary Christian artists across the U.S. After being discovered from drum covers and performance clips on YouTube, the call came to audition for indie-rock band Dinner and a Suit. Landing the gig quickly led to touring internationally. From VH1 Emerge Festival spotlight performances in Mumbai and Bangalore India to supporting acts such as Imagine Dragons and Twenty-One Pilots, Dinner and a Suit was on the move. During the transition from band member to hired gun, Drew began touring with a new voice in country music, Abi Ann. National tours with Kelly Clarkson, Eli Young Band, and Pentatonix filled the calendar nonstop for two years. Now with pop-country duo Smithfield, Drew has been privileged to perform regularly at the iconic Grand Ole Opry in Nashville as well as at major festivals across the U.S. supporting some of the largest names in country music today. Catch Drew on the road in a city near you this summer with Smithfield promoting their newest single “Hey Whiskey” to country radio.

Somewhat papery stick sound with a glassy undertone over fairly dark and cloudy wash. Very versatile ride cymbal with good crash-ability for classic rock music applications. Developed in co-operation with the legendary "Van Halen" drummer Alex Van Halen.
