Biography

Dmitry was born in Moscow in a family of musicians. Already at four years old he announced that he would be a drummer, and since that moment he has followed his dream. He studied at music schools, then at the State Musical College named after Gnesins. Dmitry is an artist of “Melnitsa” (since 2005) – the most popular folk-rock group of Russia The group has seven albums, a huge number of music collections, sold-out concerts at major venues in the country, songs of the group regularly take first places in the radio charts. Also Dmitry plays drums in such music bands as Inna Zhelannaya’ band, Tinavie, Backstage Band, Tintal, Art Ceilidh, Plumbum Dreamz (Led Zeppelin tribute). In addition Dmitry teaches drumming, works as a session musician.
