Biography
Dennis was born and raised in The Netherlands where he was a founding member of bands like Within Temptation and Epica. He became the European touring drummer for Guns N' Roses lead guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal in 2002, just before relocating to New York City. Once in NYC, Dennis became Bumblefoot's full-time drummer, recording three studio albums and touring the world between 2004 and 2015. In 2009, Dennis toured the US and Europe with hard rock queen Lita Ford on her 2009 come-back tour while also keeping steady international fly dates with Danger Danger's Ted Poley. When not on the road, Dennis kept busy in New York as an in-demand session drummer, working with legendary producers such as PJ Bianco (Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato), Nick Sansano (Sonic Youth, Galactic) and Easy Mo Bee (Miles Davis, Wu Tang Clan, 2Pac), as well as tracking drums for people all over the world from his private recording studio in Queens. After relocating to Los Angeles in 2015 and building yet another recording studio, he has been doing regular sessions with famed producers Mikal Blue (Colbie Caillat, Jason Mraz) and Ken Caillat (Fleetwood Mac). Since his arrival in LA, he has toured with Rockstar Supernova finalist Dilana and has been the drummer for up and coming country star Liam Mogan.
