Biography
David was born in Basel, Switzerland, on the 8th of February 1989. With an early and strong fascination for drumming, he started playing at the age of seven. After about seven years of drum school, David focused on learning progressive rock music by himself. Apart from becoming a teacher at his old drum school in 2009 for a few years, he was busy with several studio and live gigs for regional projects. This included big festival and club shows in Germany for the Swiss metal giants Breakdown of Sanity. Returning to Breakdown of Sanity in 2024 as a full member allowed him to play festivals and club shows all over Europe and Asia.

Mark I: Tends to be a bit quieter, darker and drier. This manifests itself in the overall sound character and in particular in the bell and ping sound.
