Biography
Since 2000 Daniele Pomo is the Chairman and Educator of Rock Drum Faculty (Popular Music) of the Saint Louis Music College. He performed with numerous artists such as Steve Hackett and Anthony Phillips (Genesis), Steven Rothery and Steve Hogarth (Marillion), Davis Jackson (Van Der Graff Generator, King Crimson), David Cross and Trey Gunn (King Crimson), Dionne Warwick, Graham Nash, Patty Pravo, Ron, Mariella Nava, Tosca, Mietta, Paolo Vallesi, Il Rovescio della Medaglia, Corona, Ellesmere, Vincenzo Ricca. He's member and founder of the Prog Band Ranestrane with whom he composed and recorded eight albums so far. Several tours led throughout Europe and Japan. With the hystorical Italian Progressive band Il Rovescio della Medaglia Daniele Pomo recorded three albums and partecipated at the important “Italian Progressive Festival” in Tokio during the Japanese tour of the band. Daniele Pomo collaborated for “I parchi letterari” with Ippolito Nievo Foundation and with Titanus and Mediaset for composing music, soundtracks and main theme for many TV shows. In 2012 he published the Drums method “Power Patterns” .

Sound character: A fusion of darkness, energy, projection and brilliance. Very wide range, complex, musical mix. Responsive feel, extremely controllable. Woody, silvery, spanky ping over crunchy, thriving wash. Extremely versatile, flexible ride for wide ranging application in modern blended music styles. Mark II: Tends to be a bit livelier and brighter. This manifests itself in the overall sound character and in particular in the bell and ping sound. Mark II also has a bit more volume potential due to its more open character.
