Biography
A musician born and raised in NYC.. drummer/producer, songwriter and clinic coordinator. Damon has performed, toured and/or recorded for Cameo, The Manhattans, Regina Bell, Nona Hendryz, Freddie Jackson, Craig Harris, Roy Ayers, Mike Phillips, Shelby J., Public Enemy, Marcus Miller and has also manned the drum chair for TV series New York Undercover and Vaughn Harper and the Quiet Storm Live for NYC FM radio WBLS. Both gigs allowed Damon to accompany the best of the best in the music business. Studied Music at Old Westbury SUNY under Warren Smith and Makanda Ken McIntyre. Both teachers introduced methodical approaches to performing. An awesome journey raised in a small town in NY that had bands on every block. Damon was exposed to all styles and fell in love with performing and collaborating with musicians worldwide. Like the ol saying.. “If you can make it here”
