Biography

Born October 29, 1985, and raised in Warwick, NY, Christopher Reddan was born into a family where music was always prevalent. Fascinated by the sounds of everything from Jimi Hendrix to Miles Davis, Chris began playing the drums at age 5. By the age of 12, Reddan was playing professional gigs with many local musicians and was quickly making a name for himself. He played at local venues in the area at night, while attending school by day. Just a few years later, at 17, Chris was called by Blues legend Popa Chubby to come join him on tour. This era provided Reddan with the opportunity to play all over the world, over 200+ gigs a year. He performed at major festivals such as Nice Jazz Festival and The San Sebastian Jazz Festival. Reddan also appeared on television stations such as Fox, France 2, Direct 8, Rockpalast, and RTL. The next few years granted Chris with many opportunities for touring and studio sessions. He has played a wide variety of styles from Rock to Blues, R&B and Organ Jazz. He has played with artists such as Jimmy Thackery, Jermaine Paul (Season 2 winner of “The Voice), Paul Nelson (Johnny Winter), Lance Lopez, Jeremy Baum, Slam Allen, Bill Perry, Rhett Tyler, Michael Hill, Gary Hoey and Bruce Katz. Chris’ instincts and professionalism have made him a favorite among band leaders, studio engineers and Grammy winning producers. To this day, he spends countless hours perfecting his craft. Reddan is currently touring with Nikki Hill, while freelancing and doing studio sessions in the NYC area.
